Hello! Several days ago, I was knitting some tiny animals for Christmas gifts. They weren't looking quite festive enough, so I whipped up this quick little Santa hat pattern. Enjoy!
Materials:
Red yarn
White yarn
Four size three double pointed knitting needles
Tapestry needle
Abbreviations:
K (Knit)
K2Tog (Knit two stitches together)
Sts. (Stitches)
CO (Cast on)
Rnd. (Round)
Gauge:
The gauge is not very important in this project, so long as the stitches are relatively tight.
Pattern:
CO 6 Sts. in red
Separate the stitches onto DPNS, so that there is two Sts. on each needle
Rnd. 1: K around (6 Sts.)
Rnd. 2: K around (6 Sts.)
Rnd. 3: K2Tog around (3 Sts.)
Run a thread through the remaining Sts., pull tight, and tie a knot to secure it.
With white yarn, make a bobble on top of the hat.
Using the buttonhole stitch, outline the bottom edge of the hat in white.
I hope you love your miniature Santa hat!
Feel free to sell as many hats as you wish, but please do not claim them as your own, and link it to my blog.
Thank you for reading!
