Happy New Year!

Hello!  Happy new years to all!  I hope that yours is fantastic!  Tomorrow my family and I are going down to Phoenix to see my mother's brothers.  We couldn't see them on Christmas, because my aunt had to work, surprisingly enough.
My new dog Pepper, is chewing up her toy right now.  It is truly hilarious, how invested she is in chewing apart her Frisbee.  Here she is:

Friday

Hello!  Today I have been finishing up Christmas gifts.  It has truly been a frenzy, trying to get everything done, and I almost didn't finish, but I did.  The finishing touches were just put on to an adorable little monster for my Uncle.  And thank goodness they were, too.

Today was the last day of school before winter break, and we watched Despicable Me 2.  I am in eighth grade, and even if the movie may seem childish, we all love it!  It was a hilarious movie.  Kevin the minion is my favorite character!

As soon as I get the chance, I will upload a picture of the Santa hat.  The time to do so has escaped me.

Thank you for reading!

Miniature Santa Hat

Hello! Several days ago, I was knitting some tiny animals for Christmas gifts.  They weren't looking quite festive enough, so I whipped up this quick little Santa hat pattern.  Enjoy!

Materials:
Red yarn
White yarn
Four size three double pointed knitting needles
Tapestry needle

Abbreviations:
K (Knit)
K2Tog (Knit two stitches together)
Sts. (Stitches)
CO (Cast on)
Rnd. (Round)

Gauge:
The gauge is not very important in this project, so long as the stitches are relatively tight.

Pattern:
CO 6 Sts. in red
Separate the stitches onto DPNS, so that there is two Sts. on each needle
Rnd. 1: K around (6 Sts.)
Rnd. 2: K around (6 Sts.)
Rnd. 3: K2Tog around (3 Sts.)
Run a thread through the remaining Sts., pull tight, and tie a knot to secure it.
With white yarn, make a bobble on top of the hat.
Using the buttonhole stitch, outline the bottom edge of the hat in white.

I hope you love your miniature Santa hat!
Feel free to sell as many hats as you wish, but please do not claim them as your own, and link it to my blog.
